About Us

The 911 Division - Emergency Services Branch, Department of Justice and Public Safety is responsible for the province-wide emergency 911 telephone service as determined under the Emergency 911 Act, 2022.

The 911 Division ensures that the 911 service protects personal information, provides accurate and current information to primary and secondary PSAPs, integrates civic addressing when available, is efficient and cost effective and is flexible and responsive to changing technologies.
